Okay, so here's one the weather people got right. Twenty plus inches of snow in about as many hours (believe me it snowed and snowed and snowed). eaw and I are suffering a bit from cabin fever, but fortunately the sun came out today. I tried to venture out yesterday to take eaw swimming before our membership runs out, but I only got out of the driveway before realizing the roads were in no condition for unnecessary navigating. mtw drove away around 5am to catch an early morning flight on Sunday.
He made it to the airport safely, but then sat on the runway for much of the morning. He's in Rhode Island performing with David Dorfman and Lisa Race. eaw has helped me walk the dogs multiple times a day through the snow - Odin is in heaven! The little guy and I went to the DMV (or BMV as they call it here in Ohio) to update licenses and car registration. I must admit, we lucked out on such a great kid. He stayed quiet while I took the written exam (I passed, although I missed the child restraint question:) and flirted with the state employees. We miss mtw, but we are enjoying some mom and me time! We fly out on Wednesday for Utah, and we can't wait!
