Beggar's Night

Okay, so no details of the move followed – just too much going on. But, we are here – neck high in boxes (well, maybe knee high at this point) and so glad for the improved quality of life. We love the neighborhood, and were glad to have our first community ritual of Halloween today (called Beggar's Night in this foreign land called Ohio). We met lots of new neighbors and enjoyed the gracious vibe of our new ‘hood. eaw particularly loved the dress up aspect and the candy-acquisition part of the holiday. He had two costumes – Scooby Doo at school, and a dragon on the streets. We did do a quick change back into the Scooby Doo for a photo op with our neighbor who had the adult version of the costume. Too cute!

All I need is a green shirt and a brown pair of pants and I could pull off a passable Shaggy. I was too lazy to even dress up that much.

WAY too cute! I want to see pictures of eaw in his new room. I am SO happy about the election - thank you, Ohio! CMD
